PLAN YOUR TRIP TO D.C.

We’re thrilled you’ll be joining us in the nation’s capital for our Women’s March to the White House on Saturday, November 2nd! Below is everything you need to know to plan your trip, from where to stay to how to navigate the city. This march is set to be a powerful pre-election pep rally, and we can’t wait to see you there!

WHERE TO STAY

We’ve secured a discounted hotel block at Hotel Zena for our attendees. Hotel Zena is a unique, feminist art-filled hotel located in downtown DC and features a beautiful Women’s March-themed art gallery, perfect for getting inspired before the rally. There will also be an official Women’s March pop-up shop in the hotel, where you can grab exclusive merch and show your support in style!

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Washington, DC, can be tricky to navigate during large events, so we recommend parking outside the immediate area and using public transit or rideshare options.

  • Parking Lots: There are several paid parking lots near Freedom Plaza, but expect higher demand and road closures around the event area. Popular options include:

    • Colonial Parking Lot 671 (1325 G Street NW)

    • One Freedom Plaza Garage (1301 Pennsylvania Ave NW)

    • 1350 New York Ave Garage (1350 New York Ave NW)

    • Note: Street parking may be limited due to event-related road closures. Please review DC Parking Regulations before heading out. For a smoother experience, we strongly recommend parking and taking public transit or walking to Freedom Plaza.

  • Public Transit: The nearest metro stations to Freedom Plaza are Federal Triangle (Blue, Orange, Silver lines)and Metro Center (Red, Blue, Orange, Silver lines). Plan your route using WMATA’s Trip Planner.

  • Road Closures: Due to the march, expect road closures around Freedom Plaza and the White House. Keep an eye on DC Department of Transportation’s Traffic Alerts for up-to-date information.
